I am a member and former council member of the section on Sociological Practice and Public Sociology... and this year we recognized Rosabeth Moss Kanter, from Harvard Business School, for the Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Kanter was generous with her time and gave us a full hour presentation on the direction of business schools and the need to get back to the basic sociological principles to solve problems...
