Sileni Winery- Sustainable
Last summer I found my first sustainable wine, and now I've found the second-- Sileni makes a great Sauvignon Blanc and it's just great to know this crisp white wine came from a sustainable vineyard. As much as I enjoy wine, it's hard to think about how white growing and making impacts the environment. Granted, as my son was quick to point out, this wine was shipped 5,000 miles to the USA. However, the Sileni organization has an impressive website explaining how they've earned the title "sustainable winery."
